PROBLEMS OF LEGAL REGULATION OF PROVISION OF PRE‑CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION TO THE CONSUMER UNDER THE LAW OF UKRAINE «ON CONSUMER LENDING»

Abstract
The author considers the problems of legal regulation of the obligation of the lender to provide the consumer with a contract on consumer credit of pre – contractual information. These problems were considered by the author with the help of a comparative study of the norms of the Law of Ukraine «On Consumer Lending» and the Directive of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union 2008/48 / EC dated April 23, 2008 «On Consumer Credit Agreements and the Abolition of the Council Directive 87 / 102EC» As the norms of the latter were implemented by the national legislator in the aforementioned law of Ukraine. On the basis of the research carried out, the author formulated proposals for the improvement of domestic legislation.
