Journal Title: Науковий вісник НУБіП України. Серія: Гуманітарні студії - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 295
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of non-scientific knowledge in modern scientific practices, which are characterized as interdisciplinary, the main feature of which is the complexity and dynamism. The author proposes to determine the methodological role of this forms of knowledge from the point of view of their influence on the choice of scientific paradigm, the structure of the interdisciplinary research project and its methodology. Each researcher has a specific and limited set of disciplinary competencies, and also have a worldview in which non-scientific and unscientific knowledge are essential components. Also, in this article author shows the main differences between such concepts as "scientific knowledge" (which corresponds to the criteria of the current science, consistent, not paradoxal, etc.), "nonscientific knowledge" (which cannot meet the requirements that apply to scientific, therefore, it is an alternative to scientific, to this type can be attributed art, religion, ideology, etc.) and "unscientific knowledge" (the results of epistemological practices that cannot be included in science, such as beliefs, persuasions, superstitions, etc.). According to the author, interdisciplinary research should take into account not only scientific parameters, such as methodology, criteria for assessing knowledge, but also the specifics of unscientific and non-scientific knowledge of the carriers of scientific rationality, since they play a significant role in the selection and targeting of research projects and practices.
