Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the issue of ensuring the right to a fair trial in the United Kingdom through the prism of the practice of the ECtHR. The case law of the ECHR concerning the issues of guaranteeing and ensuring the right to a fair trial in the United Kingdom is considered. The author examined the real court cases of the ECHR, found out what problems arose in the consideration of these cases by the national judicial authorities, and examined how the problems of ensuring the right to a fair trial were resolved.
