Problems of Selection of Lubricants for Ethylene High-Pressure Compressors. 4. Investigation of Antifriction Properties of Naphtene and Polyglycol Oils during High Loading of Solid Lubricant Pair
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2018, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
The antifriction properties of naphtene and polyglycol oils during little loading with lubrication of pair bronze-tungsten-carbide-alloy WK-6 (WK-ll) and graphelon-20-WK-6 (WK-11) and high loading with lubrication of pair ball-bearing-high-chromium steel ШХ-15 steel ШХ-15 are investigated. New correlations of viscous-and-thermal and antifriction properties of different polyglycol oils permit to creating effective composition on its base. The dependence of seizure loading during testing on FBFM on the molecular mass of different polyglycols, wear spot on the axial loading and boundary loading on concentration of additives in naphtene and mineral oils are found. The mean-square relative deviation of diameter of spot of wear from the spot by Hertz give generalization assessment of antiwear properties of lubrication oils.

On the Role of Mesoentropy in Thermodynamics of First Order Phase Transformations in Alloys
A thermodynamics of a new phase formation in a binary alloy, taking into account the chemical depletion and the size distribution of new phase nuclei giving the energy input at high temperatures, is considered. It is sho...
Calculations of the Thermal Conductivity of Si1-xGex Films with Nonuniform Composition
SiGe films have attracted much attention recently due to experimental demonstrations of improved thermoelectric properties over those of the corresponding bulk material. However, despite this increasing attention, availa...
The Important Thermal Characteristics of Matter and Their Computations with the Use of the Gibbs Potentials
In this paper, the important thermal characteristics of matter (they describe thermodynamic systems in a state of thermodynamic equilibrium) were calculated. There are the following important thermodynamic functions: the...

Hole Conductivity of Thin Layers of Cadmium Telluride with Li and Ca Impurities
Low-temperature annealing of n-CdTe substrates in aqueous suspensions of LiNO3 and Ca(NO3)2 salts created p-conductivity layers. The estimated concentration of free holes in diffusion layers at 300K is (5-50)∙1015 см-3.
