PROBLEMS OF THE MANAGER’S CREATIVITY DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Based on modern theoretical and practical groundworks both in the sphere of the state’s economy development and management technologies, the importance of management creativity for successful competitiveness in modern terms of economic relations development at the level of the state as well as at the level of separate economic entities (enterprises, organizations) has been substantiated. The estimation of works on problems connected with the usage of creativity in management by Ukrainian and foreign scientists has led to the revealing of rather superficial research and problems of creativity development while preparing of domestic managers and their direct work. It is emphasized that in modern terms of the development of management science and practice in Ukraine, one of the main issues is finding out and systematization of problems in development of domestic managers’ creativity. The study of theoretical and practical works of domestic and foreign scientists in the sphere of creative management at the micro- and macro-levels as well as selection, training and development of creative managers has helped form and give characteristics of seven problem groups: problems of theoretical grounds and usage of basic terms; organizational problems of managers’ creativity development; problems connected with building methods of managers’ creativity estimation; problems of motivation mechanisms development of managers’ creativity; problems of managers creativity at the level of the state; problems of managers’ creativity development at the level of the separate economic entity; individual problems of particular managers’ creativity development. In the research within the first group of problems the scheme of grounding and usage of basic terms in the sphere of managers’ creativity development in Ukraine (“creativity”, “management creativity,” “creative potential,” “manager’s creativity”) has been offered. Touching upon the second group, it was mentioned that now Ukraine doesn’t have a strict organization of managers’ creativity development neither at the level of the state nor at the level of a particular enterprise. The third and the fourth groups of problems are suggested to be united to solve them successfully (creation of motivation mechanisms of managers’ creativity development on the basis of the relevant methods of such development estimation). The modern problems of manager’s creativity development at the level of the state, a separate enterprise and a manger are also specified in the article.
