Proces identifikace vlastních vzdělávacích potřeb učitelek mateřských škol

Abstract

The Process of Identifying the Own Educational Needs of Nursery School Teachers To identify the educational needs that nursery school teachers perceive as a discrepancy between the desired and real results of their work, is achieved through the realization of professional activities. One of the research objectives in relation to the issue of the professional growth of nursery school teachers in the Czech education system was to find out whether kindergarten or nursery school teachers can identify their educational needs and how these identified educational needs have a form. To achieve the research goal, the concept of triangulation was chosen — a combination of quantitative and qualitative approach. One of the methods outlined above is the method of document analysis and unstructured interview, which was conducted to supplement and verify the data obtained. The findings showed that the educational need identified by probands is necessary to develop in the area of professional competence components and that the skill to identify learning needs is an integral part of the process of continuous professional development of the nursery school teacher.
