Professional Development of Future Primary School Teachers

Abstract

The article addresses aspects of the professional training of future elementary school teachers, which are designed to involve them in educational research activities in order to Foster their professional self-development. The main outcome of the training is an in-depth understanding of the student’s professional self-development, which is formed in the system of higher pedagogical education. The author discusses various kinds of competencies (functional, innovative, facilitation, special and professional, methodical, socio-psychological, auto-psychological) that are integrated into the professional self-development of university students.
