PROFESSIONAL SHIP ENGINEERS’ COMPETENCE FOUNDATION DURING THE STUDY INTEGRATED COURSES IN FLUID MECHANICS MARITIME COLLEGE

Abstract
This article presents an analysis of ship engineer competency model training (of junior specialist) in terms of physical knowledge impact students to be received during natural subjects study to their training. It was presented the comparison between oriented and modular approaches to the curriculum training creating, aimed to form their professional competence. Competency model and integrated connectors structure between the modules of ship’s engineer’s curriculum were presented. It reveals the impact of main semantic integration of the modules in physical and technical preparation of future ship engineers in their professional competence formation. The example of the integrated module «Fundamentals of fl uid mechanics» determines the possibility of competency-based training technology at maritime college.
