PROFIL KECAKAPAN AKADEMIK SISWA MELALUI PRAKTIKUM BERBASIS GUIDED INQUIRY PADA KONSEP SISTEM PERNAPASAN

Abstract
This research aimed to identify the profile of a student's academic skills through guided inquiry-based lab work on the concept of the respiratory system in the 11th grade students of SMAN 3 Serang. The methodologhy of this research is descriptive. The population of this research is students of 11th grade IPA SMAN 3 Serang of the school year 2014/2015 and the sample of the research is 11th grade IPA 7th which obtained by simple random sampling technique. Data was obtained using test description. The results of this research showed that the average value of academic skills 11th grade IPA 7th of SMAN 3 Serang by 77, 7 (good categories), which consists of four aspects: aspects of identifying variables and describing relationship among them (76.5), aspects of formulating hypotheses (75.5), aspects of designing the research (78.4) and aspects of conducting research (80.4) were included in good categories
