Profile Of Community Mental Health Centers In Turkey Between 2013-2015 Years

Abstract
Objectives: This study is planned to examine the profile of the Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC) in Turkey between 2013 and 2015 years. Methods: The research was structured as a descriptive study. 45 Community Mental Health Centers were included in the study (Rate of participation 42, 45%). The descriptive analysis was based on the evaluation of the data. Results: The study included Community Mental Health Centers; these are constituted by 20% of the Marmara and the Black Sea Region. Most of the centers (75,6%) are housed in a single-stage flat. Centers' staff were mostly nurse (24,7%) and employee (24,7%). The rate of the clients’ who regularly visit to any center was 7,8%. A supervised Job locale "Blue Horse Cafe" has been established to service in a CMHC. Conclusion: The Community Mental Health Services in Turkey are not at targeted levels, however a progress has recently been experienced.
