Prognostic value of symptoms in parotid gland carcinoma

Abstract
Parotid gland carcinoma is one of the most heterogenic human tumors for its histological structure and clinical course. As parotid benign tumors are much more common, their sign and symptoms are frequently underestimated and treatment is delayed. The authors made a review though the literature referring to the parotid gland carcinoma. Signs and symptoms of this disease were presented and their prognostic value were discussed, what can be useful in clinical practice.
