PROGRAM «12 STEPS» AS A METHOD PSYCHOSOCIAL CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR

Abstract
Addictive behavior of the individual is a serious social problem, because it can have negative consequences such as loss of health, health, conflicts with others, crimes. This article analyzes the addictive behavior, the problem of chemical dependency. Symptoms at onset of dependence. Outlines the features of the program «12 Steps» as a method of social — psychological support to people with addictive behavior, and as one of the most effective methods of rehabilitation of this disease. Analyzed the problem, the mission of the program. We consider the use of psychotherapeutic sessions art therapy (AT) as a mechanism to provide psychological support dependent on alcohol and drugs. The article touched upon the research on the role of personality characteristics and the degree of stress trauma in the formation of chemical dependency. This study has theoretical and practical importance and should be completed recommendations for optimization of this contingent psychological counseling.
