Project Management Information System and Service Delivery in Selected Construction Companies in Nigeria (1995 – 2014)

Abstract
The study evaluated criticality if there is any significant relationship between project management information system and service delivery – A case of construction companies in Nigeria. The main objective is to determine if there is any significant relationship between project management information system and the survival of construction companies. The study is an empirical research which used the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method of regression analysis to establish the relationship between PMIS and service delivery. Information concerning this research was collected through secondary source such as central bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin and annual abstract of statistics (various issues). The data were analyzed using model specification and regression. After the research work, it was concluded that construction concentrates on education, technology, capacity utilization; import and transportation etc. In addition, lack of professionals, change in government and inadequate funding are barriers to successful project planning and execution. Recommendation was also made on how to solve the problem and improve on construction project.
