PROMOTING THE EMPLOYMENT OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES BY CREATING SOCIAL ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Nowadays Ukraine is trying to restruct medical model of disability to social. Social model of disability consists in the relationship between a person with disabilities and society. Medical model, which was characteristic of Soviet system of governance, just states deviations of development and health of individuals. Very effective method of introducing this program into practice is the development of social entrepreneurship. Supporting program of the development of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine has been implemented since 2010. Recently were organized First Ukrainian Forum of social entrepreneurs, project "Ukrainian resource center of social entrepreneurship" – "Social Initiative". Because of the novelty of this category for Ukraine, such entrepreneurs today can take a support from government and specific organizations in this area. Nowadays in Ukraine there are several functioning companies with workplaces, which are fully occupied by people with disabilities. They are profitable and have a stable income. Also such enterprises help individuals with disabilities not only to find work but to find a place in society and to feel themselves necessary.
