PRONUNCIATION OF CONSONANTS BY UKRAINIAN RESPONDENTS OF PMR: NORM AND DEVIATION

Abstract

The article attempts to identify, analyze and describe the deviations that result from violations of orthoepic norms, in particular while pronouncing voiced consonants in front of the voiceless ones and at the end of the word , voiceless consonants in front of the voiced ones , prefixes роз-, без-, з- in front of the voiceless ones (except sibilants) , [в], [й] at the beginning of the word before the vowel , at the end of the word after the vowel and in the middle of the word after the vowel before the consonant [дз] [дж]. Basing on the poll (recording) steady and weak norms of pronunciation have been singled out , important pronunciation problems and their organic character have been pointed out. The opinion poll was conducted in the Transnistrian State University named after Taras Shevchenko (Tiraspol, PMR).
