PROPER NAMES OF CAMERAS: STRUCTURALLY WORDFORMING AND SEMANTICALLY MOTIVATIONAL FEATURES

Abstract
Today, more than ever, we can note significant upheaval in science and inventions that influence system onyms of modern Ukrainian language. First of all, it can be said about verbal designation of specific items of household products, proper names of cameras in particular. Scientific works that analyzed names of material objects are quiet few (Ya. V. Branytska, O. V. Vinaryeva, M. A. Kurushyna, O. O. Pryimak, S. O. Shestakova, S. A. Yatsenko). This can be attributed primarily to the fact that there are many inaccuracies in the phenomenon of prahmatonymiya and terminopoznachen regarding onomastic space. Therefore, the aim of our study is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of proper names of cameras. Achieving of defined goal involves the fulfilling of the following tasks: – to fix the most common names of cameras; – to make a general characteristic of names in terms of semantics of root basis; – to establish motivational ratio of cameras names; – to identify the most common types of cameras’ names formation. The object of the study is proper cameras’ names. The purpose of the study is lexical and semantical features of reasoning framework of proper cameras’ names formation. Names of cameras meet all the requirements of proper names and are classified as tovaronymy, anhastronymy. The scientific term fotoaparatonym was introduced to scientific circulation. Examining the proper names of cameras we can conclude that they are formed by special laws. This is especially true for semantic and motivational features that appear in different frequencies. In addition there are peculiarities in the sphere of derivation that is governed by the laws of advertising, including the names of impaired spelling. The determination of the word forming and motivational structure of proper names of other groups of technique is planned.
