PROPOSAL OF SOME ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY METHODS IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE SHAFT SYSTEM – MAIN ENGINE ON THE SMALL CARGO SHIPS

Abstract

In recent years, along with the strong development of science and technology, many new construction methods have been applied in the shipbuilding industry for high technical efficiency, shortening construction time and reducing costs. Accompanying these methods are new equipment and materials that have been applied and become increasingly popular. The paper proposes advanced technologies in assembling the shaft system – the main machine currently being transferred and applied in the shipbuilding industry in Vietnam.
