Abstract
The article is devoted to comparative characteristics of the proposals of the periodic structure in the novels of Pavel Zagrebelny and Oles Honchar: productive structural types of proposals, have been revealed, an attempt has been made to explain the common language and individual author's motivation for using periods and their stylistic functions in idioms of writers.
