PROSECUTION FUNCTIONS IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS AND THEIR CONNECTION WITH THE ACTIVITY OF THE PROSECUTOR FOR THE OPENING OF MATTERS OF CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS OF THE OTHER PARTY

Abstract
The article outlines the functions of the prosecutor’s office, which are implemented by the prosecutor in criminal proceedings. Their relationship with the procedural activity of the prosecutor on the discovery of materials of criminal proceedings to the other party is certain. It is noted that when it is implemented, the prosecutor carries out the procedural management of this activity, and its proper completion is a condition for the prosecutor to start the function of maintaining public accusation in court. Separately, the leading role of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings as the main subject of the prosecution function was noted.
