Prospects of improvement of system of animal breeding in Ukraine

Abstract
In the article the description of organization of animal breeding in Ukraine is presented. The analysis of current situation gives the ground to affirm, that the system doesn’t meet modern requirements and needs for essential improvement. Laying down the implementation of basic operational functions for providing of animal breeding on state bodies is not effective. For crea- tion of effective system of animal evaluation and for organization of it recognition on the world market of genetic resources the consolidation of efforts of farmers, scientific and educational establishments as well as of infrastructural business organizations supported by Ministry of agrarian policy and food in cooperation with civil society is needed.
