PROTECTION OF CIVILIANS BY THE POLISH MILITARY CONTINGENT IN AFGHANISTAN

Abstract
The work focuses on the issue of сіѵіііап protection by the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan, because despite of law changes, the situation of civilians in today’s military actions is still far from perfection. This work presents key legał considerations of сіѵіііап protection. The authors’ intention is also to show the relation between International Humanitarian Law and Humań Rights, as both of these law branches focus on respect for, and dignity of the сіѵіііап population. But the main object of study has focused on aid provided by the Polish Military Contingent for civilians in Afghanistan.
