PROVIDING PUBLIC SECURITY PROTECTION IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract
The protection of the public (public) order is an overriding public function, a “cause of honor” of any state. Such a role is predominantly given to the police, the closest to the community to the law enforcement body of public authority. However, the effectiveness of the work of law enforcement bodies depends largely on the participation of the public. The article presents positive examples of involvement of public organizations in the protection of public (public) order, proposes the theoretical foundations of this process.
