PROVIDING THE RELIABILITY FUNCTIONING AND ENHANCING THE EFFICIENCY OF PNEUMATIC ENGINES ON VEHICLES WITH ENERGY RECUPERATION

Abstract
Purpose. To find out an adequate mathematical description of changes in controlled parameters and determine on their basis the probability of occurrence of failures which is an actual scientific and practical problem, the solution of which will allow to propose new technical solutions to improve the reliability of the pneumatic engine while working on hybrid vehicles using recuperative inhibition. Methodology. We have given the peculiarities of the use of hybrid vehicles, it should be noted that the problem of environmental friendliness of their usage does not solve. Therefore, the introduction of a pneumatic engine as an additional power unit in conjunction with the ICE, makes it possible to reduce the impact on the environment without reducing the efficiency of the vehicle. The main indicator of efficient use of a pneumatic engine on a vehicle is its energy efficiency. Energy efficiency is understood as the rational use of energy resources, which reduces their use at the same utilized capacity. Originality. For the first time, we have carried out the research of reliance of constructive elements of pneumodrive which works as additional power unit in recuperation system in the process of brake. Results. There has been explained the formation of own or parametric failures of the pneumatic engine which is a consequence of a number of random and slow-moving processes that are related to the conditions of operation of the vehicle and which directly determine the initial values of the external speed characteristic, which in turn is explained by the results of random sampling of the elements of the pleura of the motor for determining the time of the faultless work. Practical value. We have created the conception of work of pneumatic engine on a mobile vehicle which is considered as a consequence of a significant number of processes carried out, including the search for an adequate mathematical description of the change of controlled parameters and the determination of their basis of probability of failure as an actual scientific and practical problem, the solution of which will allow us to offer new technical solutions for improving the reliability of the pneumatic engine and to increase its field of application.
