Abstract
The rail industry in Wallonia / Belgium is unlikely to produce ready-made vehicles, but is only subcontracted to global producers which have their own plants there. However, the number of com panies operating in the railway sector is considerable high - both component manufacturers, structural components, rolling stock as well as rail automation components and railway infrastructure. Manufacturers in Belgium which activity is related to the rail in dustry have not only a wide experience in this area, but also invest in their own development, so the products that they offer can be described as modern and innovative.
