Przepływy informacyjne w strategii CPFR

Journal Title: Logistics and Transport - Year 2006, Vol 2, Issue 1

Abstract

Information flows are often of greater importance than material and financial flows. As a result the competitive advantage of a company is largely determined by the internal and external communication system. Efficient and timely information exchange are of particular importance for the management of integrated supply chains. However, this information flow may be a barrier for trade partners at the same time. In the light of modern logistic conceptions such as CPFR, where a thorougly prepared system of data exchange between partners is essential, the current challenge is the opening up of companies for the informational needs of their partners.
