Psychodynamic psychotherapy of patients with psychotic disorders in community based psychiatry

Abstract
The paper presents a practical approach in the psychodynamic treatment of patients with the diagnosis of psychotic disorders. Some important concepts like projective identification and omnipotent narcissistic object relations were described in the context of psychosis and schizophrenia. Objectives and rules of psychodynamic psychotherapy in the treatment of patients with psychotic disorders in community based psychiatric services were presented.
