Abstract
The article considers psychological and cultural aspects of the use of profanity in the youth environment. Carried out the synthesis of different scientific approaches to the problem. The analysis of the distribution of profanity and the main reasons for its use. Recommendations for preventing the spread of this phenomenon and to minimize it.
