PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL BASIS OF THE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE HEAD OF THE GENERAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The specificity of management activities of the head is determined by communicative process, in which it occurs. The subject of management is the head, therefore the level of development of his/her communicative competence can be determined by the team ability to realize the long-term goals of educational activity. The significance of communicative competence also increases due to the introduction of the state-public model of management by the general educational institutions. Communicative competence of the head is an integral characteristic of his/her professional communication. The communicative competence development of the head of the general educational institution is an actualization of the individual’s internal resources, which determine the effectiveness of management communication. The most relevant one is the productive level of communicative competence development. An experimentally tested model is a system of connected elements that reflect the logic of the communicative competence development for the headю During the introduction of the model the following tasks were implemented: the head’s system of knowledge about features of pedagogical and administrative communicative interaction had been extended; the development of communicative productivity of the head of the general educational institution was realized by gradual optimization of his/her speech and communicative behavior under the conditions of specially created communicative situations; changes in sociopsychological attitudes had been achieved etc.
