PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOLINGUISTIC PRECONDITIONS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS’ UKRAINIAN LEXICOLOGICAL COMPETENCE FORMATION

Abstract
The paper deals with psychological and psycholinguistic preconditions for foreign students’ lexicological competence formation in the process of Ukrainian language learning. It is determined that the development of non-communicants’ Ukrainian lexicological competence formation methodology is based on understanding the structure of speech process, its components, and the actions of those thinking and speech mechanisms that ensure the implementation of the process. The peculiarities of memory as a store and carrier of verbal information in human brain, the use of motivational sphere of non-communicants which contribute to increasing the efficiency of Ukrainian vocabulary mastering are highlighted.
