PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF TYPES OF MANAGERIAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE POLICE OFFICERS

Abstract
The article provides psychological characteristics of types of management competence of a future police officer. An empirical research of management competence of cadets of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs is conducted. Based on the results of the empirical research, a factor analysis is done. As a result of conducted factor analysis, eight types of future police officers are revealed: internal type with a high level of self-direction, persons with high management potential, masculine type with low intelligence, professionally interested type with a high level of self-direction, avoidant aggressive type with blurred objectives of activities, introverts aimed at human relations, professionally unmotivated type with developed self-direction, and male type focused on work. There are made conclusions about positive and negative sides of these types with a consideration of future management professional activities.
