PSYCHOLOGY OF UNDERSTANDING OF CREATIVE DENTAL TASKS BY DOCTORS

Abstract

In this article there is an analysis of scientific approaches of the problem of understanding, namely the process of understanding of creative dental tasks by doctors. There were found some peculiarities of process of understanding in the thinking activities in the branch of medicine. We learn the understanding of creative medical task as a thinking process, done with the help of active interaction of the subject with the new medical task, and as the result it enriches its knowledge and at the same time makes the thinking methods for its solution. In particular, they describe four thinking procedures, which define the process of understanding: understanding-identification, understanding-prediction, understanding-consolidation and understanding-explanation. Understanding-identification is based mainly on the previous experience, so factors that are being analyzed, are related to known or new ones. If the understanding comes after discovering objects that are similar to analyzing ones, understanding makes the form of prediction. Understanding predicts all stages of the task solving and it is a necessary component and a necessary condition for the ending of every stage. Understanding-consolidation is the result of solving thinking tasks by the subject, as a creation the whole from the parts. Understanding-explanation is the most difficult of all procedures and includes all cognitive processes, which were used at previous stages .Only some attempts to explain the cognitive phenomenon, shows the lack of understanding, its incompleteness. We should also take under consideration the micro stages of understanding the problem of creative dental tasks: the general introduction of the problem, its division into main and secondary parts, recoding the problem into “our language”, a new level of problem learning, finding the main point of the problem, the stage when you include the problem of creative dental task in the chain o f doctors’ knowledge and experience, understanding the problem and putting forward the hypothesis.
