Public Associations as Civil Society Institutions: characteristics and problems

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of civil associations as an institution of civil society. The investigation of the concept of civil society, institutes of civil society and also civil associations. Based on the examples, it is proved that there are certain problems in the activities of civil associations that appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. It is revealed that with the help of the institution of a civil union the principle of freedom of association is permeated.
