Pulse Excitation of a System Containing a Textile Layer
Journal Title: Fibres and Textiles in Eastern Europe - Year 2017, Vol 25, Issue 3
Abstract
In this paper the problem of the vibration of a mass supported on a textile layer and subjected to pulse excitation is analysed. A mathematical model of a system containing an elastic spring and electromagnet is formulated. The numerical simulation shows that the electromagnetmay ensure the maintenance of a compressive force acting on the textile layer provided thatthe period of natural oscillations is shorter than the time duration of the pulse.

Influence of the Yarn Formation Process on the Characteristics of Viscose Fabric Made of Vortex Coloured Spun Yarns
In this study, based on the Box-Behnken design, regression statistical analysis is introduced to evaluate the influence of yarn formation process variables (nozzle pressure, yarn delivery speed and yarn count) on the pro...
One-Bath One-Step Dyeing of a Polyester/ Cotton Blend using the Pad-Dry-Fixation Process
The aim of this research work was to evaluate the one bath dyeing of polyester/cotton blend and to compare the results with those of two bath dyeing. Polyester/cotton (50:50) blend fabrics were studied using dichlorotria...
Investigation of Some Physical Properties of Knitted Fabrics Produced from Macaroni Yarns
Recently there have been new trends in fancy yarns in order to meet consumer demands for drapery, decorative and outwear fabrics. Macaroni yarns are a promising group of fancy yarn which allows new yarn designs with diff...
