Abstract
The article is dedicated to the elucidation of the essence of categories „purpose of the World Customs Organization”, „objectives of the World Customs Organization” and „functions of the World Customs Organization”. The author highlights the existing doctrinal views for understanding these concepts. The author points to numerous examples of identification and offers his own perspective on their separation.
