QSPR on Estimating of Polychlorinated Biphenyls Relative Response Factor using Molecular Descriptors Family
Journal Title: Leonardo Electronic Journal of Practices and Technologies - Year 2004, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
The molecular descriptors family methodology was applied on relative response factor of polychlorinated biphenyls in order to obtain quantitative structure-property relationships. The use of molecular descriptors family allows making of important remarks about nature of the relative response factor property and its causality. The obtained quantitative structure-property relationships can explain over 62% of polychlorinated biphenyls relative response factors.

Robust Controller Design for Speed Control of an Indirect Field Oriented Induction Machine Drive
The use of PI controllers for speed control of induction machine drives is characterized by an overshoot during tracking mode and a poor load disturbance rejection. This is mainly caused by the fact that the complexity o...
Assessment of CO, CO2 and Suspended Particulate Matter Emissions
The concentrations of carbon oxides (CO and CO2) and suspended particulate matter at Benue Cement Company (BCC) and Tse-Kucha community was investigated. Results obtained, shows that concentrations of carbon dioxide of 3...
Performance Scaling of Individual SPEC INT 2006 Results for AMD Processors
High performance is a critical requirement to all microprocessors manufacturers. In this paper we describe the performance scaling trends in AMD Opteron 2000+ and AMD Opteron 8000+ series processors. The micro architectu...
Synthesis and Polymerization of Pyrole Characterization of Polypyrole
The anodic polymerization of pyrole (P) onto Iron and Copper electrodes gives a PP/Metal composite. Some attractive properties de PP/Metal composites are employed by cyclic voltammetry, potentiometry, impedance measureme...
Mathematical Modelling and Simulation of Mobility of Heavy Metals in Soil Contaminated With Sewage Sludge
This paper is aimed at developing a model equation that can predict the mobility of heavy metal in the soil contaminated with sewage sludge. The model equation was developed and represented by the expression below . The...
