QSPR on Estimating of Polychlorinated Biphenyls Relative Response Factor using Molecular Descriptors Family
Journal Title: Leonardo Electronic Journal of Practices and Technologies - Year 2004, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
The molecular descriptors family methodology was applied on relative response factor of polychlorinated biphenyls in order to obtain quantitative structure-property relationships. The use of molecular descriptors family allows making of important remarks about nature of the relative response factor property and its causality. The obtained quantitative structure-property relationships can explain over 62% of polychlorinated biphenyls relative response factors.

Design and Fabrication of a Direct Natural Convection Solar Dryer for Tapioca
Based on preliminary investigations under controlled conditions of drying experiments, a direct natural convection solar dryer was designed and fabricated to dry tapioca in the rural area. This paper describes the design...
Palm Kernel Shells as a Dust Control Palliative on an Unpaved Road
An assessment of the effectiveness of the use palm kernel shells as a dust control palliative on an unpaved road has been carried out. The palm kernel shells were able to reduce the quantity of dust generated from the ro...

Influence of Compactive Effort on Bagasse Ash with Cement Treated Lateritic Soil
The result of a laboratory study on the influence of British Standard Light (BSL), West African Standard (WAS) and British Standard Heavy (BSH) compactive effort on up to 8% bagasse ash content with up to 4% cement treat...
Simulation Studies of Shear Stresses in Reinforced and Non-Reinforced Concrete Structures
A simulation study of the effect of shear stresses in non-reinforced and reinforced structures was carried in this work. Using the Finite Element Method and equations of elasticity, columns and concrete deck of a simple...
