Qualities of an Ideal Nurse in Ayurvedic Classics

Abstract
Nurses have always been an integral part of all health care systems. Portrayal regarding the qualities of an ideal nurse is there in the Classics of Ayurved. The well known Brihattrayi of Ayurved i.e. the three main texts Carak Samhita, Sushrut samhita and Ashtang Hridayam were explored to know about the subject and description available there is presented through this paper.
