QUALITY AND SAFETY IN INSURANCE SERVICES

Abstract
Negative factors which occurred in the insurance market during the economic transition in Poland resulted in the threat on the consumer market, undermining consumer confidence in the legal system and insurance companies. The study is an analysis and confirm the thesis that level and appropriate quality management system of insurance services plays an increasingly import ant role in the insurance company position, and the current financial crisis has created a need for increased insurance awareness of insurance companies customers. It is the continuation of research conducted as part of research project - e- transformations of brain drain in brain gain in the „far from the highway regions”, realized in collaboration with the European Business Club and the European Academy of Technology & Management in Oedheim. The primary objective of the Author was to analyze the main directions of changes in the provision of insurance services in the insurance companies, with particular emphasis on the claims settlement.
