Ragweed pollen in the air of selected Polish cities in 2008

Abstract
This paper presents the course of ragweed pollination season in selected cites of Poland in 2008. The measurements were performed in Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Olsztyn, Warsaw, Wrocław. The research was carried out by means of the volumetric method with the use of Burkard and Lanzoni devices. The highest concentration values were recorded in Bydgoszcz and Wrocław (57 and 32 grains/m3).
