Rak pochewkowy krtani – opis przypadku

Abstract
ak krtani jest najczęściej występującym nowotworem złośliwym w obrębie głowy i szyi. Ponad 95% wszystkich nowotworów krtani stanowi rak płaskonabłonkowy. Inne postacie raka oraz nowotwory nienabłonkowe występują bardzo rzadko. Niestety, przebieg kliniczny raka płaskonabłonkowego jest nieprzewidywalny, stąd stałe poszukiwania nowych czynników prognostycznych. Rak pochewkowy (carcinoma cuniculatum) jest wysoko zróżnicowaną odmianą raka płaskonabłonkowego i niezwykle rzadko występuje w obrębie głowy i szyi. Dotychczas w literaturze ukazały się tylko dwa opisy przypadków tego typu raka w obrębie krtani. Autorzy przedstawiają przypadek mężczyzny z rakiem pochewkowym krtani oraz omawiają histopatologię tego nowotworu.
