Rapid growing invasive squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract

Case report describes a 84-year-old woman with rapid growing invasive squamous cell carcinoma localized on the right shin at site of a posttraumatic scar. This carcinoma was of oval shape, sized 1,6 cm, with a hyperkeratotic surface. Radical excision of this carcinoma was necessary and histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of an invasive squamous cell carcinoma.
