We would like to present a case of a 52-year-old man admitted to the Department of Dermatology Medical University of Silesia due to oedemas at lower limbs and scrotum. Lesions appeared in the course of recurrent erysipelas. In the history fi rst symptoms of erysipelas occurred in the 5th year of patient’s life. The patient has been admitted to regional hospital on dermatology unit several times, many diagnostic tests were performed and broad spectrum antibiotics were administered. Even though treatment, 8 years ago there have appeared massive oedemas of lower limbs, sexual organs and of abdominal integuments. The test results confi rmed infl ammatory background of oedemas. Antibiotics and vascular medications were prescribed. In order to make lymphatic system more suffi cient there was administered manual lymphatic massage which improved patient’s vital functions.
