RATIONAL CHOICE OF PHARMACOTHERAPY FOR SENILE DEMENTIA

Abstract
A popular name for dementia is senile marasmus or senile dementia. Most often, this disease occurs against the background of aging of the body and associated changes. Usually dementia develops after 65 years of age, but against the background of certain diseases, intoxication or injuries, it can also appear at an early age. Damage to the central nervous system is irreversible, properly selected treatment allows only to stop the process, but not to reverse it.
