Rationalized Haar collocation method for solving singular nonlinear Lane-Emden type equations
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
In this study we have proposed the Rationalized Haar (RH) collocation method for the solution of Lane-Emden equations arising in astrophysics as singular initial value problems. In order to test the applicability, accuracy and efficiency of this new method, we considered two examples, for which the comparisons verify our present method. Comparing the results of RH collocation method with the exact solutions clearly indicates that our methods is accurate even when singularity occurs at the boundary.

Common Fixed Point Results for Weakly Compatible Map in Digital Metric Spaces
This paper aims at proving fixed point results for weakly compatible maps in the setting of digital metric spaces. Also, an application and conclusion is cited in the end of this note.
Hybrid Orthonormal Bernstein and Block-Pulse Functions for solving nonlinear Volterra integral equations
In this paper, A numerical method based on an set of general, orthonormal Bernstein functions coupled with Block-Pulse Functions on the interval [0,1] to solve non linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind,...
The Digital Features of the Function of Order Statistics
In this paper, we deduce the digital features of the function of order statistics by the probability density function of order statistics and the properties of the Euler integral.
Logistic Regression Modeling to Isolate Factors that Correlate with Usage of ITN as a Prophylactic to Malaria in Ghana
The study was conducted to isolate factors that correlate with ownership and usage of insecticide treated nets (ITNs) as a prophylactic to malaria in Asamankese, Ghana and explore the policy implications of the findings...
Based on the gray system theory for predicting oilfield cementing quality
This paper introduces the basic principles of the gray system theory and the GM(1, N) model, and analyzes the factors affecting of the cementing quality. This paper selects nine major factors and dimension reduction by p...
