Abstract
Fudbal jedna je od najpopularnijih igara današnjice. Prema strukturalnoj složenosti u klasifikaciji sportova, igra fudbala pripada kompleksnim sportskim aktivnostima što je u skupini s ostalim ekipnim sportskim igrama. To podrazumijeva razne tehničke izvedbe u uvjetima međusobne suradnje svih članova ekipe. Suvremeni vrhunski fudbal obilježava visoki intenzitet aktivnosti tijekom cijele utakmice, zašto je potrebna i visoka razina šireg spektra funkcionalnih i motoričkih sposobnosti igrača. Nema ni jedne motoričke, a niti funkcionalne sposobnosti koja nije važna za uspješnost u fudbalu, a s obzirom na kineziološke značajke ove sportske igre posebno su dominantne brzinske sposobnosti, eksplozivna snaga, izdržljivost, agilnost i koordinacija
