Re-submitted Chain ChSP-4(c1,c2) Sampling Plan

Journal Title: Caspian Journal of Applied Sciences Research - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 3

Abstract

Vidya (2008) proposed the chain sampling plan ChSP-4 (c1,c2) and determined the plan parameters by minimizing the variance and VOQL. In this paper, ChSP-4 (c1,c2) plan is presented under the re-submitted sampling plan. The optimal parameters of the proposed plan are determined using the optimization procedure so that producer’s risk and consumer’s risk are simultaneously satisfied. Tables for the proposed and ChSP-4 (c1,c2) plans are presented. The advantage of the proposed plan over the Vidya (2008) plan is discussed. The proposed plan is illustrated by suitable example.
