READING SAFAHAT WITH BAKHTİN

Abstract
Romanın ortaya çıkması ve gelişimiyle eski edebi türlerin hâkimiyeti ciddi biçimde sarsılmıştır. Bu sarsıntı diğer türlerin romana öykünmesine, roman tekniklerini içermelerine yol açmıştır. Mikhail Bakhtin romanın modern dönemi yansıtan en önemli tür olduğunu belirtir. Ona göre roman diğer türleri etkileyerek onları dönüştürmeye başlamıştır. Ülkemizde de benzer bir süreç yaşanmış şiir dili giderek düz yazı diline yaklaşmıştır. Bu sürecin en önemli örneklerinden biri Safahat’tır. Akif, eserinde, geleneksel şiir dilinden uzaklaşarak romana benzeyen yeni bir dil kullanmıştır. Şair, romandan alınan unsurları kullanarak kendine has bir üslup yaratmıştır. Böylece anlatmak istediği çok sayıda konuya kendi istediği biçimde yaklaşma imkânı bulmuştur. Bu makalede Bakhtin’inromanlaşma süreci hakkındaki düşüncelerinin Safahat’taki izleri aranacaktır.
