REAKCJE SPOŁECZEŃSTWA NIEMIECKIEGO NA PRÓBĘ ZAMACHU STANU Z 20 LIPCA 1944 ROKU

Abstract
Wielkie, spontaniczne poparcie, jakie udzieliła Hitlerowi po 20 lipca 1944 roku przytłaczająca większość społeczeństwa niemieckiego dowodzi, że elementem integrującym III Rzesze nie był bynajmniej terror gestapo. Przytłaczająca jego większość, kierując się fanatyzmem, bezmyślnością, wygodnictwem czy też niedobrymi wcześniejszymi tradycjami historycznymi, reżim hitlerowski z całym zaangażowaniem wspierała. Ale reakcja społeczeństwa niemieckiego na próbę przewrotu dowodzi również z całą ostrością, jak bardzo dysydenci III Rzeszy byli z niego wyizolowani. Wielkie osamotnienie bojowników zamachu stanu z 20 lipca 1944 roku i ich alienacja jest potężnym oskarżeniem pozostałej części społeczeństwa.
