Abstract
In this article the interrelation of technical disciplines with natural sciences is considered. And also the methodological bases of the implementation of the professional orientation in the course of general physics courses are given. Dialectics of the relationship of natural sciences and engineering. The role and application of fundamental knowledge in the development of scientific and technological progress is disclosed.
