REALIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-EDUCATION OF TEACHER OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION SPACE

Abstract
This article presents the essence of the concept “self-education” of teacher in the modern educational space. The basic requirements for organizing the self-education of teachers and stages of self-educational activity are defined. The essence of “self-improvement”, its main factors and sources of knowledge search for self-development are revealed. The concept of educational information and communication space is defined and its characteristic features are specified.The article describes the possibilities of using the information and communication technologies in the self-education of the elementary school teacher, namely studying with online-platforms, working with pedagogical program software, web-quests development, web-conference organization and blogging. The article specifies the modern online-platforms, presented with courses that coordinate the studying process in the following sequence: video lectures viewing, discussion of questions with other students and teachers at the forum, exam passing and certificate collecting. Besides, the teacher training possibilities are revealed with modern electronic multimedia textbook that includes the integral didactic system; in addition the stages of the web- quests creation are indicated. Also, effective rules you must follow when creating and running your own blog are listed. The analysis of the teachers’ ability to self-development and accordingly realization of their self-educational needs was carried out, the spectrum of stimulating and hindering factors distribution was determined. The stage of development of the teachers’ skills in the use of information and communication technologies in the system of continuous pedagogical education was also researched.
