REALIZATION OF THE REGULATIONS OF THE UN CONVENTION IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OF THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN (CEDAW) IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the main provisions of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The international experience in the implementation of the provisions of this international act in the legislation was studied. The current status of the legislation, its compliance with the provisions of the Convention was checked. The essence of the main shortcomings of state policy in the context of the issue of gender inequality has been revealed. The mechanism of implementation, already implemented in national legislation, of CEDAW provisions is proposed.
